CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA / badness in the capital

I am currently in Canberra as my brother officially received his Doctor of Philosophy thingy.  I'm here for thankfully, just a few more hours.

The majority of Ozzies I have come across so far have been quite rude and stand offish.  There are some nice ones as well but I unfortunately currently wanna BE HOME IN WELLY!

Though my main mission before I leave (next Tuesday) is to buy my much-needed summer wardrobe in Sydney.

Where I am at the moment has a pet ferret called Cybill.  I've never met a ferret in real life before so this is all quite exciting - apart from the fact that she keeps trying to crawl up my trouser leg.. and that I'm afraid I'll accidentally wheel over her when I move around in this wheely chair.  She's the equivalent of 85 years old but still very mobile.  A little TOO mobile perhaps!
