Women-only Carriage, 8.36am

We may have a winner, people.

It ran slightly late, but was comfortable. It helped that there was a small group of particularly chatty and amusing women on it this morning.

I suspect that they were from Kansai, judging by their dialect, complete inability to stop talking, and one girl saying “Whee!” as they were being pushed into the train.

They would giggle and laugh and one of them would always say “God we’re noisy! We should be quiet..” and after about two minutes, would start talking again.

It was great!

There was only a small in-car incident this morning. I was lifting up my arm to grab hold of a handle, and accidentally caught my thumb in the belt loop of said chatty Kansai woman’s jacket. Thankfully she didn’t notice, but I think the woman next to me did.

Whoops.
