I just came back from a weekend in Shimoda. Pictures to follow once I'm not so rushed. It was very peaceful. I went to the beach and did a few walks. I'm now EVER SO SLIGHTLY browner, but a large proportion of me is kinda sunburnt. Hmm, so much for my theory that the Japan sun isn't as potent!

Though I am by no means as varied in my shades of brown as some of the teen girls I've seen. From their hair to their clothes to their skin colour, it really is all the colours of the brown rainbow!

I've noticed that the funniest things to take pictures of are often written on people's T-shirts. And I'm not sure how many would appreciate me using my 3x optical zoom on their chests.

Right, off to Takayama in a wee bit so I better find me some food.
