... or better titled as: "How Geeks Flirt".
I have a soft spot for mathematicians. I think I have secretly always wanted to be brilliant at maths. Having been lucky enough to be acquainted with several mathematicians, I know that mathematicians tend to be rather hot. So the hotness of the mathematicians in { proof } came as no surprise. However, to think that they actually flirt like that, amuses me muchly.
Also being a Computer Science graduate, I am well-immersed in the Realm of Nerd. However, I don't consider myself actually SMART enough to pass as a bonafide Nerd. I just like to pretend that I know enough to fully appreciate movies like { proof } and Cube.
I loved { proof }. Normally I find Gwyneth Paltrow irritating in most movies.. Far too wimpy for my liking.
But great story.. made me cry.. great filming.. Gwyneth really showed some ovaries this time. And Jake Gyllenhaal is all class. I ((heart)) the Gyllenhaal family.

Gotta say... I didn't really like this film so much despite Jake Gyllenhaal (droool). And it only reinforced my dislike in Gwyneth, who hasn't done anything to redeem herself since Shakespeare in Love where it all started going downhill.
Found the film just a little bit depressing... Then again perhaps it didn't help that I watched it on the plane, and missed the first quarter of it... or maybe that was a good thing? Who knows?
Felt just a little bit too much like a poor man's "A Beautiful Mind" which I really enjoyed...
Ah yes, "A Beautiful Mind".. I have yet to watch that.
Jake Gyllenhaal's a weird looking fellow isn't he? Then again, I kinda like weird.
Yeah, it's a good film. Almost frightening at some points - find it weird that we studied the work of this guy in Economics at school...
Jake Gyllenhaal is hott!! (With 2 "t's" even) Perhaps I just have an unconventional taste in men?
I like all my friends and lovers kinda unconventional and weird-looking.
Why do you think I'm friends with you lot? ;p
