Japan contrasts

This brilliant photo by John Konno (taken in Shinjuku station, Tokyo) captures in a single shot what Japan is infamous for, amongst foreigners living here - contradictions.

On the one hand, you have the beautiful nature. On the other, you have the majestic buildings. And then, you have the homeless person.

From my personal experiences, I find that Japan contains more extremes than, say, New Zealand. In terms of weather, people and ideals.
