I went to the two-week old Portugalia in Umeda yesterday. They had a huuuge range of wines, most of which were port wines. The food was deeelish. I've never had Portugese food before, so I had no idea what to expect.
My dining companions and I tried a variety of things including pigs' ears (my first time - YUM), and an oven baked duck and rice dish with smoked sausage. I'd definitely recommend these two dishes. My companions found the duck dish a little oily, but it reminded me a little of my beloved Hainanese Chicken Rice. I _loved_ it! The top was crispy and fragrant with smoked sausage, while the inside was slightly soupy.
As we left, we noticed the dessert counter was filled with little chocolate souffle-like pots of yumminess. Guess I'll be coming back next time!
