Tokyo Gay/Lesbian Parade

I was told that the parade has been getting bigger and better every year. So this year I thought I'd bowl on up and see what the fuss is about.

I was sorely disappointed.

Wellington holds bigger Santa parades. AND there's candy thrown out to the crowd.

Nevertheless, it was good to see so many attendees at the Tokyo parade despite torrential freak thunder/lightning/rain storms that started and stopped just before the parade. The rain was so bad that the LOOP LINE, a huuugely important train line in Tokyo, was rendered useless for hours.

I made a few new friends, so it wasn't all bad.. it just lacked.. something.
