Wakayama Beach Fun

Unfortunately, Mr./Ms. Number 1451 stepped RIGHT in front of my photo just as I was taking it.. so you can't quite see what the girl is bashing with a stick.

This is a beach game I've often seen people playing. There are variations of it, including being blindfolded and seeing if you can hit it. Ah yes, nothing more satisfying than splattered cold watermelon on a toasty, TOASTY day!

I spent Saturday at Tokimeki beach in Wakayama, about a 1.5 hour drive south of Osaka. Still recovering from an embarrassing case of Bad Tan Lines after a walk in Nagai Park a few weeks ago, I decided to hide in the shade the whole time. The boys, however, got burnt to a crisp.
