It felt like the end of the world yesterday. minus fireballs in the sky.
At about 7.15pm, we had this crazy 4 on the richter scale earthquake that lasted for about, I swear, 4 minutes. It was the wobbly sort so not very violent thankfully. But it was kinda scary waiting for it to finish.
Before it happened, there was lighting and thunder and a downpour. And while it was happening, we turned on the TV and saw all these warnings on typhoon number 18 that's due to come in this week. Talk about the Apocalypse!
.. and then at 11.55pm, another 4 on the richter scale quake hit. By that time I had gone back to my 2nd floor apartment and found out what it feels like when a building sways. Waaah!
Oh, and then there were the tidal wave warnings. Only 1 metre though.
Everything's fine though. Right, better get ready to teach! WAAAH! The thought of that's even more frightening than the earthquakes!
