Chicken and Chinese (J)

I didn't think it was possible, but lo and behold, I found.. WHOLE ROAST CHICKENS IN JAPAN!!!

The potatoes and carrots (well, one carrot) I cooked in the rice cooker. Very quick when using the "Quick Cook" button.

The chickens were found, thanks muchly to Mappy, at the local Carrefour. I also bought a fair amount of brie for 298 yen - pretty cheap considering this is Japan.

The Carrefour roast, despite its slightly odd curry powder flavour, was absolutely delicious. However no roast chicken will ever beat that of Conrad's.

Prior to spending way too much (once again) on food, Mappy and I went to see Infernal Affairs 3. The movie being in Cantonese with Japanese subtitles, meant that my comprehension of at least ONE of those two languages at any one time was required.

Anyway, I found the plot QUITE complicated, with its going back and forth in time, and my general lack of comprehension. There was also Mandarin involved which made things even more interesting!

I like the actors and actresses in it though. Tony Leung and Anthony Wong rock!

有り得ないと思っていたけど、なんと、日本で全体のローストチキンを見つけた!!

じゃがいもとにんじんを炊飯器使って、煮た。「お急ぎ」のオプション使うと、結構速くてできる。

Mappyのおかげで、ローストチキンをカルフールで見つかった。だいぶ量が多いブリーチーズも買った。298円だった。日本にしては、結構安いと思う。

チキンは、ちょっとびみょうなカレーの味以外にとても美味しかった。ただし、やっぱり、ｺﾝﾗｯﾄﾞのローストチキンなら、ほかのローストが負ける。

食材にお金使っちゃう（まただ！＾＾；）前に、Mappyと「Infernal Affairs 3」という番港映画を見に行った。言葉は広東語で、字幕も日本語でやっていたので、ある時にせめて一つの言葉くらい分からなきゃいけなかった。

ということは、筋が超複雑だったと思うよ！理解がちょっと駄目だったし、何が現在か、何が過去か、何が妄想か、たまに迷子になっちゃった。北京語も出てきたので、サムの挑戦が面白くなってきたぞ！

俳優と女優たちが大好きだったけど。Anthony Wong と Tony Leungが特にかっこうよかったと思う。
