Grossness

Curious (and QUITE grossed-out) by the rice-shaped and sized things I found at the bottom of my bathroom drain (EGGS!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!), I foolishly, FOOLISHLY Googled for information.

I will spare you the absolutely diiiiiisgusting, vomit-inducing, skin crawling images I came across.

However, my fears that I have X-File like creatures growing in my flat have been allayed. I think they are just fly eggs.

Still people, eww... EWWWWWW.

UPDATE: I actually think it is more likely my podded friends are ROACH EGGS. GAH!

Thanks for the comment Lea, it must be that time of the year.. *shivers* I have these tablet things that you're supposed to put into drain pipes to get rid of that stagnant water smell and hygiene-ify everything, so here's hoping it's killed the mofos.

Ewww!! We must be in some kind of strange parallel universe at the moment (well that or strange coincidence) because I found some in our house a couple of weeks ago!! *shudder*

Needless to say I spent the whole weekend vacuuming and mopping! I couldn't even sleep that night because everytime I closed my eyes I saw them!!

there's a crazy-ass mold flourishing on my wooden tub "mat" at the moment. i poured bleach all over it tonight, and managed to bleach/damage the colour of the wood quite significantly. and it only affected about half of the mold. luckily, no roach eggs/moth balls/cockroaches yet....but it's only a matter of time....
