Amusing moment #78 of ..??

Yesterday for lunch we went to an okonomiyaki place near the school. Okonomiyaki is a savoury pancakey thing made with cabbage and assorted goodness. I ordered a scallop one. The place we went to is this tiny, mum & pop stylez joint. And the funny thing was, during our meal I thought I heard Beastie Boys being played through their stereo system. Sure enough, it was! So that was quite an interesting experience... being in a traditional Japanese eatery, surrounded by elderly Japanese grandmothers, everyone listening to The Beastie Boys...
