Colours of Japan
A lot of people think of Japan as a concrete covered jungle. I used to think the same, until I discovered cracks in Osaka's concrete. It is possible to, one minute be using your cellphone to scan barcodes off your computer screen, and the next, walk outside and see a woman sowing seeds in her rice field.
Prior to that, I had only ever seen seeds being sowed on TV, or in books.
So a land of stark contrasts is my dear Japan.
And also a land of colours. Here are some photos I've added to my 'Cool' collection. The first is of a lilac-coloured security barrier in front of the municipal office. A building fashion crime in some countries, but it works here! Click on the pics to view larger images:
