Canadian Thanksgiving
There are a lot of things I don't know about Canada. Things like how they spell "neighbourhood" with a "u". They may sound like the U.S., but I guess they spell like the rest of us.
So when I found out that Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated in October, AND that a restaurant in Tokyo was putting on a full course turkey dinner complete with pumpkin pie AND coffee with FREE REFILLS, I simply had to treat J-Ho to it.
It's pretty much like a NZ Christmas.. so that was fun.
We went to Good Honest Grub, which does FINE brunches, but now that I can make Eggs Benny at home, I think I might save my pennies for turkey dinners there instead.
Labels: gustation, Japan, Tokyo/Kanto, yay
