Info on this visually stunning building can be found at the Brand-New Osaka website. The website isn't called 'brand new' for nothing. The Hilton Plaza stocks all the incredibly expensive brands like Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Loewe.. the works!
..so naturally C and I had to go in wearing our 3/4 pants, sneaks and NZ$20 Ts. A lot of the stuff wasn't even priced and the suit-ed shop assistants gave us the HELL glares!
I was privileged enough to dine at Unoya which is in the Dining Floor of the Hilton Plaza. I highly recommend it! Including drinks, for around 3000yen (approx. NZ$50) a person, you can enjoy izakaya food with a modern Japanese twist. Gorgeous presentation, gorgeous flavours. They even made the vomit-looking monja look fabulous! This photo isn't of monja BTW, it's of a black sesame seed panacotta.. I think..
And if you're ESPECIALLY lucky, you'll get the mascot of the restaurant, a really soft squishy bunny cushion, at your table.
