The Great Japan Beer Festival, 2006

This was held on October 7 this year at the Umeda Sky Building.

It was SO MUCH FUN!

There were so many international food stalls and beers from all over the world to sample. And everything was around 500 yen! I ate kimchi chijimi (a Korean pancake), a huge and messy hot dog made using Johnsonville Brats (the sausage maker and make), AND a huge plate of pad thai.

I tried an Italian beer (Peroni, or something) and a German one.. wish I'd kept the bottles -- they had cool labels.

I was a happy camper indeed!
